Job Description

Zette is hiring a part-time marketing intern for the fall semester. In this role, you’ll learn what happens behind the scenes in marketing strategy, brand creation, and campaign planning, and you’ll assist in creating ready-to-use concepts, frameworks, and project plans. You’ll work alongside two consultants, shadowing their work, as well as contributing to projects in the form of research, project coordination, administrative support, and as your interests and opportunities allow, graphic design or copywriting. Brands include paid clients, pro bono clients (nonprofit organizations), and Zette Consulting itself. We expect you to work hard, and in return, we will make your time at Zette a powerful learning experience.

I gained hands-on consulting experience, developed strategic thinking skills, and worked on branding projects for clients in a variety of industries, something you do not really get out of a marketing course in college. Job Duties

  • Coordinate projects, including building timelines
  • Social media planning and execution
  • Collaborate in the creation of marketing strategies for clients in multiple industries
  • Conduct online research to inform campaign, program, and brand strategies
  • Provide administrative support, such as meeting coordination and documenting client discussions
  • Shadow Zette employees, contractors and partners

Job Qualifications

  • Junior or senior-level student majoring in marketing or communications
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Able to commit 10-20 hours per week
  • Some work can be completed remotely, some occurs in our office in 78704; opportunities for client site visits in the Austin area (optional)
  • Web design and/or copywriting skills a plus
